O'Hara has returned to Fratton Park on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season, but defender Younes Kaboul and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic are on the verge of completing transfers in the opposite direction.

Pompey are still waiting for Kanu, Nadir Belhadj and Hassan Yebda to return from the African Nations Cup, while Lens loanee Aruna Dindane is set to join Birmingham.

Tommy Smith (groin) and Papa Bouba Diop (hamstring) are both doubts for the Eastlands game, while David Nugent is back after his loan spell at Burnley ended.

Kick-off 1.30pm.
