Wright-Phillips: Doubtful for Boro tie

Wright-Phillips: Doubtful for Boro tie

Wright-Phillips has missed the last three games with an ankle injury but with Stephen Ireland (hamstring) out for a fortnight, the England man could be a useful addition on Teesside.

Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor are both missing on African Nations Cup duty, leaving new boss Roberto Mancini short of numbers in defence and attack, with Roque Santa Cruz (calf) also on the doubtful list.

City (from): Given, Taylor, Zabaleta, Richards, Sylvinho, Garrido, Trippier, Wright-Phillips, Kompany, De Jong, Barry, Bellamy, Robinho, Petrov, Weiss, Tevez, Santa Cruz, Vidal, Boyata, Nimely, McDermott.
