Versatile midfielder Tom Clarke (knee), Danny Drinkwater and Robbie Simpson (both thigh) have all returned to the first-team squad over the Christmas period and are again in contention for the third-round tie at the Galpharm Stadium.

Drinkwater, on loan from Manchester United, and Simpson were on the substitutes' bench for Monday's home win over MK Dons, while Clarke started his first game since August.

Midfielder Michael Collins has shaken off a hip injury and is back in contention, so Clark must decide who to go with.

Meanwhile, Jim Goodwin is unavailable for selection after joining Oldham on a month-long loan deal.

The Terriers have lost one of the their last five league matches and lie fifth in the table, 10 points off an automatic promotion spot.
