Johnson was forced out of the action at Blackpool in midweek and replaced by Leon Clarke, who went on to score the Owls' second goal.

Clarke is expected to retain his place alongside Marcus Tudgay up front, while on-loan midfielder Tom Soares will play his last game before returning to Crystal Palace.

Luke Varney will go straight back into the squad for the game after returning on loan from Derby until the end of the season.

The striker, who spent the first half of the season on loan with the Owls, will have to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench after Wednesday's two straight wins under new manager Alan Irvine.
