The winger signed for Albion from Feyenoord on Monday but, due to the winter break in Holland, has not played competitive football since before Christmas and is not quite match ready.

But Roberto Di Matteo will have been reluctant to make changes to his starting line-up in any case following Saturday's impressive display in the 3-1 home victory over Sheffield United.

Joe Mattock missed training on Monday due to illness and a decision on his availability will be made as late as possible, although the left-back has been kept out of Di Matteo's line-up of late by Marek Cech.

The Baggies have no other new concerns, with midfielder James Morrison (heel) still the only player in the treatment room.
