Walcott and Denilson are in contention for the Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium after shaking off injuries but Fran Merida misses out with an ankle problem, while Aaron Ramsey (thigh) and Samir Nasri (hamstring) are facing three weeks on the sidelines.

Veteran defender Sol Campbell will need another week's training before he is in contention.

Alex Song and Emmanuel Eboue are away at the African Nations Cup, while Nicklas Bendtner (groin), Kieran Gibbs (foot), Robin van Persie (ankle) and Johan Djourou (knee) remain out.
