David Lucas and Vincent Pericard are the latest to join a treatment room that has suddenly become packed to the rafters.
First-choice goalkeeper Lucas was forced off after just 12 minutes of Saturday's 1-0 win at Brighton with a hamstring injury and he is doubtful to feature at St Mary's. Striker Pericard also fell victim to a hamstring injury in the first half at the Withdean and is doubtful.
Fellow forward Billy Paynter missed out altogether due to a hamstring problem of his own, as did defender Sean Morrison (groin) and the pair definitely remain sidelined.
Right-back Kevin Amankwaah made the bench after yet another hamstring strain but, despite failing to play, aggravated the problem again and is also doubtful.
But, in a rare piece of good news for Wilson, winger Danny Ward trained on Monday following the head injury which forced him off at the weekend and he should be okay.
