Ravenhill: Late fitness check

Ravenhill: Late fitness check

The tough-tackling midfielder was forced off after half-an-hour of the 2-0 home win over Barnet on Saturday with concussion.

"He had to come off with a head injury. He was a bit concussed and felt sick, so we will have to see how he goes," said caretaker boss Dave Kevan.

Jamie Clapham, Ravenhill's replacement against the Bees, or Craig Westcarr will come into the side should the 29-year-old miss out.

Defender Graeme Lee and striker Luke Rodgers returned to the squad at the weekend after injury and should be included once again.

The Magpies will travel to Fulham in the sixth round on February 14 should they triumph at the Dave Whelan Stadium.
