The Republic Of Ireland international missed his country's midweek encounter with Brazil after suffering a leg injury in the Carling Cup final setback against Manchester United.

Skipper Stiliyan Petrov and defender James Collins did not train on Friday but came through midweek games for Bulgaria and Wales unscathed.

Kick-off is at 1.45pm.
