Dundee United are hoping acupuncture allows captain Andy Webster to lead them out at Hampden in Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final against Raith.

Webster was thought to be a major injury doubt with a calf injury but that has since been diagnosed as a nerve problem in his back.

Full-back Mihael Kovacevic is hoping to shake off a hamstring strain, but Garry Kenneth is suspended and Scott Robertson (groin) is a long-term absentee.
