Gradi: Unlikely to tinker

Alex's campaign began with a 1-0 home defeat on Saturday but Gradi will resist the urge to make changes for the visit of the Championship club.

"It is on my mind to change things but I don't think one defeat is reason enough to abandon what we have been working on all summer," said the Crewe chief.

"The players worked hard on Saturday and some of the football we played was very good.

"We just needed that end product, but there is a long way to go and I still think this team can go on a decent run."
