Stevie Hammell is back in the Motherwell squad for the visit of the Buddies.

The left-back has recovered from a hamstring injury and could return to the team.

Nick Hegarty will have an operation on Tuesday after being told he will be out for at least three months with a broken ankle.

But Michael Higdon could make only his second appearance of the season after recovering from a groin injury and taking part in a practice match this week.
