Wagstaff: Doubtful for Addicks

Scott Wagstaff and Akpo Sodje are injury doubts for Charlton ahead of the visit of leaders Brighton.

Winger Wagstaff limped out of last weekend's 2-2 draw at Plymouth with a foot injury and was replaced by Lee Martin, who will now be in line to start.

Striker Sodje missed out at Home Park with a knee problem and remains a doubt.

Defender Simon Francis returns after hopping off the team coach on the way to Plymouth to be present at the birth of his daughter.

Francis should return at right-back even though Christian Dailly deputised impressively, with the veteran Scot more likely to revert to centre-half.

Full-backs Kelly Youga (knee) and Chris Solly (ankle) are still on the casualty list.

Brighton striker Fran Sandaza needs a late fitness check for the leaders' trip to Charlton.

The recent signing from Dundee United missed last weekend's 1-1 draw with Bournemouth due to a thigh injury and has visited a specialist in his Spanish homeland.

Winger Kazenga LuaLua, who scored against the Cherries, has an ongoing hamstring problem but should be able to start.

Captain Gordon Greer is fully fit after a calf injury but looks likely to have to settle for a place on the bench again with Adam El-Abd and Tommy Elphick continuing at centre-half.

Alan Navarro is the only definite absentee with the midfielder targeting a return from his ruptured cruciate ligament in February.

Radostin Kishishev returns to The Valley, where he made 200 appearances in seven years with the Addicks.
