Kalala: Remains doubtful for Glovers

Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton could again be without JP Kalala as his side prepare for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday.

The 28-year-old, who has made seven appearances for the Glovers this term, has been struggling with a knee injury since mid-September and may again miss out.

Stefan Stam, who was this week made available for loan by Skiverton, will also be unavailable due to a knock.

Yeovil go into the clash on the back of successive wins, which both came away from home, against Walsall and Rochdale.

However, they are still languishing at 17th in npower League One and will be hoping to continue their impressive form by claiming victory at over the Owls.

Sheffield Wednesday will hand a late fitness test to Giles Coke ahead of the trip to Huish Park.

The Owls midfielder missed last weekend's win over Leyton Orient with a hamstring strain and if he misses out again Darren Potter will partner James O'Connor in central midfield, with Tommy Miller and Gary Teale making up the quartet.

Central defender Mark Beevers remains sidelined with ankle ligament damage, so Lewis Buxton is expected to continue at centre-half alongside Darren Purse.

Winger Jermaine Johnson came through an 85-minute run-out with the reserves in midweek unscathed following his long-term knee injury and is expected to resume on the bench.

Manager Alan Irvine has no new injury or suspension problems, while Marcus Tudgay, Neil Mellor, Clinton Morrison and Paul Heffernan are all vying to fill the two starting places up front.
