Shittu: Poised to make his debut

Danny Shittu could be added to the Millwall squad for the visit of Derby.

The former QPR and Bolton centre-half this week agreed a three-month contract at The Den to boost manager Kenny Jackett's options at the back.

But veteran striker Neil Harris is an injury doubt after rolling his ankle in the warm-up ahead of Tuesday night's defeat by Portsmouth.

Defender Alan Dunne and midfielder Liam Trotter are pushing for starts after returning from suspension as substitutes in midweek.

Trotter looks certain to replace Tamika Mkandawire in the centre while Dunne will vie with Scott Barron and Tony Craig for a full-back berth.

Forward Shaun Batt remains a long-term absentee with a knee injury.

In-form Derby have no new problems ahead of the trip to Millwall.

Boss Nigel Clough may make some changes though despite seeing the Rams extend their unbeaten league run to six matches with victory at Doncaster in midweek.

Skipper Robbie Savage is likely to come back into the side while Shefki Kuqi could also be in line for a recall.

It remains to be seen whether Clough feels that two games in five days will be too much for Paul Green after the Republic of Ireland international made his return from a hamstring injury in South Yorkshire on Tuesday night.

With Stephen Bywater (wrist fracture) still out, on-loan keeper Frank Fielding will continue in goal.

The trip to The Den was set to be the final game of Luke Moore's loan spell but a deal has been agreed with West Brom to extend the striker's stay.
