Holt: Fit to face Burnley

Norwich will have key duo Grant Holt and Wes Hoolahan available.

Captain Holt picked up a knock in the 3-1 defeat at Cardiff last weekend but is fine to lead the line for Paul Lambert's side.

Forward Hoolahan suffered a facial injury in scoring a diving header in Wales but after treatment carried on and is also fit to keep his place as the Canaries look to bounce back.

Left-back Adam Drury is out with a calf strain which will keep him out for at least a fortnight so former Rangers man Steven Smith should continue in his absence.

Central defenders Zak Whitbread and Michael Nelson (both ankle) are still sidelined and midfielder Andrew Surman remains a casualty with a knee injury.

Midfielder Stephen Hughes is making good progress as he recovers from a recent ankle operation but will miss the next few games at least.

Burnley boss Brian Laws will select from a virtually full-strength squad.

Several players were laid low by a bug ahead of last Saturday's 1-1 draw at leaders QPR.

Jack Cork and Andre Bikey were only fit enough to sit on the bench at Loftus Road, while Wade Elliott and Danny Fox battled through to help earn a valuable point.

Striker Martin Paterson has since been affected but Laws expects the striker to be available to face the Canaries.

Laws said: "The good thing is that is hasn't affected us any more. In fact what we should have is a clean bill of health."

Midfielder Chris McCann remains along-term injury absentee but the Clarets have no other concerns.
