Grabban: Recalled early to face Norwich

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has recalled striker Lewis Grabban from his loan spell at Brentford in time to bolster the squad for the visit of Norwich.

Grabban, who only last week agreed to extend his stay at Griffin Park until the New Year, will go straight back into the squad to face the Canaries with Steve Morison and Theo Robinson out and Neil Harris doubtful.

Morison will be absent through suspension after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season at Doncaster in the 2-1 defeat.

Meanwhile, Robinson faces knee surgery and is unlikely to recover in time to play again before the end of his loan spell from Huddersfield.

Harris is struggling from a foot injury and could miss out as the club look to return to winning ways following back-to-back league defeats.

Norwich will be without midfielder Andrew Crofts for the trip.

The Wales international salvaged a point at the weekend with his last-minute equaliser against Burnley but still found time to pick up his second yellow card of the afternoon in the dying seconds to be sent off.

He will therefore serve a one-match ban at the New Den so David Fox or Matthew Gill will get a game in the middle.

Left-back Stephen Smith is also missing after he picked up a hip injury at the weekend so Simon Lappin is likely to fill in with Anthony McNamee coming into the side on the wing.

Fellow full-back Adam Drury is out with a calf strain which will keep him out for at least a fortnight, while

central defenders Zak Whitbread and Michael Nelson (both ankle) are still sidelined.

Midfielder Andrew Surman remains a casualty with a knee injury and Stephen Hughes is making good progress as he recovers from a recent ankle operation but will miss the next few games at least.
