Eastwood: Could be in line for start

Nottingham Forest have no new problems ahead of the visit of Midlands rivals Coventry.

Defender Kelvin Wilson remains a doubt after missing the 1-1 draw at Watford on Saturday due to a back problem.

Boss Billy Davies has several options available should he wish to make changes. Most of them are attacking alternatives, with former Coventry striker Dele Adebola, David McGoldrick and Nathan Tyson pushing for recalls.

Midfielders Guy Moussi and Radoslaw Majewski will also hope to come back into the starting line up.

Forest are unbeaten at home in 26 Championship matches stretching back to September 19 last year when Blackpool won 1-0 at the City Ground.

Coventry's Clive Platt and Ben Turner are major injury doubts for the trip to Nottingham Forest.

Striker Platt limped off after half an hour of Saturday's 3-2 loss to Leeds after picking up a thigh strain and could miss out possibly paving the way for former Forest player Marlon King to make only his second start for the Sky Blues.

Centre-back Turner, who scored at the weekend, is almost certainly out after he left the Ricoh Arena on crutches with his left knee in a brace suffering from suspected medial ligament damage.

Freddy Eastwood (knee) and Chris Hussey (broken metatarsal) are expected to be in contention for a place in the squad for the first time since August after both returned to full training.

Midfielder David Bell (groin) also returned to training on Friday but the match may come too soon for him while centre-back James McPake is also on the verge of making his comeback.

Aidy Boothroyd's side currently sit fifth in the Championship and are on a four-match unbeaten run on their travels.
