St Johnstone will be without Chris Millar (groin) and Dave Mackay (thigh) for the visit of Hearts.

But manager Derek McInnes is hopeful Murray Davidson can overcome an ankle knock and Jamie Adams could make his debut if his registration is confirmed by the SPL following his recall from a loan spell at Dundee.

Graeme Smith, Kevin Moon and Martin Hardie remain on the sidelines.

Suso Santana will miss the trip to St Johnstone as Hearts seek a third SPL win in a week.

Winger Santana, who was an unused substitute in the 2-0 win at Hibs and came on after 87 minutes in the defeat of Celtic, is to undergo a knee operation to repair cartilage damage, while Jason Thomson is a doubt with an ankle problem.

Lee Wallace (knee) and Andrew Driver (thigh) are two to three weeks away from full training, with David Obua (groin) still out.
