Gers midfielder Maurice Edu will miss the visit of the Dons but the knee injury he suffered in the midweek defeat by Hibernian is not serious.

Sasa Papac will also miss out with a head wound while Lee McCulloch is expected to overcome a knee knock.

Andy Webster, James Beattie and Nikica Jelavic remain on the sidelines while Ricky Foster misses out under the terms of his loan agreement from Aberdeen.

The Dons will be without Darren Mackie, who suffered a knee injury against Inverness in midweek, and Andrius Velicka, who is on loan from Rangers and ineligible.

However, skipper Paul Hartley returns after serving his suspension.
