O'Hanlon: Fit again for Dons

MK Dons defender Sean O'Hanlon could make his first start in four games during the visit of troubled Sheffield Wednesday.

The centre-half has been struggling with a stomach muscle injury but made a brief substitute appearance in the midweek FA Cup defeat to Stevenage without concern, so could come into Karl Robinson's side.

On-loan Coventry winger Michael McIndoe can also return after he was ineligible to face Stevenage but Robinson remains without a host of attacking options.

Jermaine Easter is definitely out as he recuperates from his thigh strain while Aaron Wilbraham is unlikely to return from his back complaint.

Angelo Balanta is a doubt with the ankle injury he sustained after scoring at Brentford last weekend and Jabo Ibehre has suffered a recurrence of his knee injury.

Defender Jude Stirling is still not back in training as he recovers from a long-term groin injury.

Sheffield Wednesday winger Jermaine Johnson could return to the squad but midfielder Giles Coke will miss the clash at MK Dons through suspension.

Johnson, who has made only three appearances for the Owls this season, has been sidelined for the last two matches due to a hamstring injury, but returned to full training this week.

Coke will serve a one-game ban after reaching five yellow cards for the season and manager Alan Irvine will be without defender Jon Otsemobor, who has a calf injury.

Skipper Darren Purse came through unscathed in the home win over Rochdale last week after a rib problem and should partner Mark Beevers again at the heart of defence.

Irvine has no other new injury or suspension problems as the Owls chase their fifth home league win of the season to keep pace with the top six.
