Conway: Knee op rules him out

Anthony Stokes will miss out for Celtic after picking up a virus.

Midfielder Joe Ledley returns from a one-game suspension served against St Mirren last week.

Long-term injured Scott Brown (foot), Beram Kayal (groin) and James Forrest (ankle) are still out.

Dundee United are without winger Craig Conway for the daunting trip.

The Scotland international underwent knee surgery on Tuesday and is expected to be out for up to six weeks.

He will be joined in the stands by Darren Dods (knee), Scott Severin (ankle) and Mihael Kovacevic (knee), while boss Peter Houston has a doubt over Scott Robertson (calf).

Danny Swanson and Jon Daly, who have been struggling in recent weeks, have completed a full week of training so come into contention for a starting place. Youngster Stuart Armstrong is also added to the squad.
