St Mirren manager Danny Lennon moved closer to having a full squad available again with the news that Paul Gallacher and Stevie Robb are back in contention to tackle Well.
Keeper Gallacher has recovered from a knee problem and Robb has overcome a thigh injury.
Loan striker Paul McGowan, who was ineligible against his parent club Celtic last week, is back in the squad.
Motherwell will assess Keith Lasley's reaction to their Friday training session before deciding whether he can face St Mirren.
The midfielder has missed five games with a hamstring injury but is eager to return at Paisley.
Manager Craig Brown will have a full squad to choose from if the midfielder proves his fitness.
