Millwall midfielder Liam Trotter is doubtful for the visit of his former club.

Trotter, who was in the Iron squad which beat Millwall in the 2009 League One play-off final, came off with a hamstring problem during last weekend's goalless draw at Preston.

Jimmy Abdou came on in Trotter's place and would be his likely deputy to start in the centre.

Striker Josh McQuoid should be added to the squad for the first time since his switch from Bournemouth late last week.

Fellow frontman Kevin Lisbie (knee) and wingers Chris Hackett (hip) and Danny Schofield (thigh) will be checked over.

Fit-again full-back Andy Frampton has extended his loan spell with Swindon by another month.

Meanwhile Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough has been boosted after it was confirmed Martyn Woolford will return from a virus for the game.

The winger, who scored the winner against the Lions in the League One play-off final at Wembley in 2009, missed last week's home defeat to Coventry through illness.

However, he has returned to training this week while Sam Togwell and Garry Thompson are also pushing for starting places after overcoming knee and groin problems respectively.

Defender Rob Jones will be available for action too after needing stitches in a head injury at Derby last weekend.

However, defensive trio Niall Canavan (knee), David Mirfin (foot) and Michael Raynes (thigh) all remain sidelined along with midfielder Michael Collins (shoulder).
