De Laet: Final loan appearance

On-loan Preston duo Iain Hume and Ritchie De Laet are set to make their final appearances for the club.

Barnsley striker Hume will be hoping to sign off in style as his 93-day loan draws to an end.

On-loan Manchester United defender De Laet's loan also ends after the weekend but North End boss Darren Ferguson is hoping to secure his services until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old arrived in November on an emergency loan and has impressed in his three appearances so far.

Leon Cort and Wayne Brown again look set to form Preston's central defensive partnership as centre-half Sean St Ledger and skipper Callum Davidson battle back from recent injuries.

In-demand striker Connor Wickham will not be back in action when Ipswich travel to Lancashires.

Wickham, 17, has missed the last three league games with a thigh strain and the Premier League target will continue to sit out.

Captain Gareth McAuley is out until at least the New Year after Achilles surgery as Roy Keane's side look to end a miserable run of five straight defeats at Deepdale.

Young midfielder Luke Hyam is also still absent with his hamstring injury but left-back Mark Kennedy could return from his hamstring problem.

On-loan Celtic defender Darren O'Dea should be fit after picking up a knock in the defeat to Swansea last weekend while midfielder David Norris is also fit after a hamstring problem.
