Portsmouth are without Greg Halford for the game.
The on-loan Wolves defender sits out with a one-match ban after collecting five yellow cards this season.
But boss Steve Cotterill will finally welcome Carl Dickinson back into his side after a three-match suspension stretching back to November 13.
Dickinson will go straight back in at left-back with youngster Joel Ward switching to the right as Halford's replacement.
Cotterill's selection plans are disrupted further by the contract issues surrounding Michael Brown and Richard Hughes.
The midfield duo can make just one more appearance each before they trigger automatic extensions to their current deals which the club cannot afford, so at least one of them will miss out.
Millwall captain Paul Robinson looks set to miss the trip.
The defender suffered a hamstring injury during the draw at Swansea a fortnight ago which would have ruled him out of last week's postponed game against Barnsley.
The problem was not as serious as first feared but boss Kenny Jackett will not risk bringing him back too soon so Darren Ward is in line for a recall alongside Dan Shittu at the back.
Striker Kevin Lisbie is poised to return to the squad having resumed training following a knee injury, and midfielder Liam Trotter could also be available after missing the last two matches with a hamstring problem.
Frontman Shaun Batt remains a long-term absentee with a knee injury.
