Dembele: Unlikely to be fit

Stoke boss Tony Pulis will give a late fitness test to Matthew Etherington ahead of the game after he limped off late in the Boxing Day win at Blackburn with an ankle knock.

Pulis does not expect any further injury problems and is likely to name an unchanged side if Etherington is passed fit.

Fulham, meanwhile, are likely to be without Moussa Dembele.

The striker, who returned to training last week following five weeks out with an ankle injury, missed the 3-1 home defeat against West Ham after failing a fitness test and is not set to return before Saturday's trip to Tottenham.

Matthew Briggs (calf) is out until next month, while Bobby Zamora (leg) and Philippe Senderos (Achilles) should return in February.
