Wallace: Back in Hearts squad

St Mirren have an unchanged squad for the clash with the Jambos.

Gareth Wardlaw sits out the second game of a two-match ban but Craig Dargo could feature again after playing his first game for four months against Inverness on Boxing Day.

Hugh Murray and Nick Hegarty remain on the sidelines but both are set to return next month.

Lee Wallace will return to the Hearts squad for the game against the Buddies but Rudi Skacel is set to miss out.

Wallace has been out since September with a knee injury but has impressed in training and a calf injury to Skacel could increase the involvement of the left-back.

Skacel has been playing with a small tear in his calf, but could be fit for the New Year's Day derby with Hibernian, while David Obua (groin) and Jason Thomson (ankle) are nearing returns, but Andrew Driver (thigh) and Suso Santana (knee) remain a few weeks away from action.

St Mirren (from): Gallacher, McAusland, Barron, van Zanten, Potter, McGregor, Travner, Thomson, Cregg, Higdon, McGowan, Dargo, Lynch, Samson, McQuade, Lamont, Mooy, McLean.

Hearts (from): Kello, Barr, Bouzid, Zaliukas, Stevenson, Palazuelos, Templeton, Elliot, Elliott, Balogh, Kyle, Jonsson, Mrowiec, C Thomson, Skacel, Novikovas, Wallace.
