Bertrand: Likely to miss out for Forest

Ryan Bertrand is likely to be absent for Nottingham Forest after being forced off just before half-time in the 5-2 demolition of Derby with a hamstring injury.

Chris Cohen came off the bench to replace Bertrand on Wednesday night and is likely to get the nod to deputise at left-back.

Club captain Paul McKenna has recovered from a groin injury but the midfielder missed the Derby game with a virus and remains a slight doubt.

Billy Davies is unlikely to be able to call on David McGoldrick and Dele Adebola (both knee) while fellow striker Dexter Blackstock is a long-term injury absentee after suffering knee ligament damage last month.

Barnsley manager Mark Robins has no new injury or suspension problems following Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Swansea, but injured defenders Jay McEveley and Luke Potter remain sidelined with respective knee injuries.

Striker Paul Hayes is pressing for a place in the starting line-up after starting the last five matches on the substitutes' bench, while the Tykes are still without forward Garry O'Connor.

O'Connor has signed a permanent deal following his recent loan spell from Birmingham but is not eligible to play for Barnsley until the home clash with Coventry next Monday.

Midfield pair Diego Arismendi and Luke Butterfield are also in contention as the Tykes bid to bounce back from successive defeats.
