Nosworthy: Has an ankle injury

Sheffield United manager Micky Adams will be without defender Nyron Nosworthy for his first home game in charge against derby rivals Donny.

Nosworthy has been ruled out with an ankle injury while Adams could be forced to make several more changes following the 4-2 defeat at Burnley as goalkeeper Richard Wright (thigh), defenders Jean Calve and Matt Lowton and midfielder Leon Britton (all groin) are struggling.

Steve Simonsen, dropped for Adams' first game in charge at Turf Moor, will return in goal if Wright fails to make it.

Midfielder Nick Montgomery and defender Kyle Bartley are available again following suspension and likely to go straight into Adams' starting line-up, while striker Daniel Bogdanovic is pushing for a return.

The Blades have lost their last three league games - they have won one of their last six - and lie two points above the relegation zone.

Doncaster could be without defender Shelton Martis and skipper Brian Stock for the game at United.

Martis was substituted in the 17th minute of Rovers' New Year's Day win over Scunthorpe due to injury and midfielder Stock, who has only recently returned to the side due to an ongoing back problem, was forced off in the second half.

Adam Lockwood replaced Martis and Dean Shiels was sent on for Stock and both could could start although Simon Gillett, who returned to the bench on Saturday following a knee injury which had kept him out since mid-October, provides manager Sean O'Driscoll with another midfield option.

Defender Sam Hird was sent off against Scunthorpe and sits out a one-game ban while midfielder Martin Woods continues to struggle with a groin injury.
