McQuoid: Set to miss out

Josh McQuoid will miss out when Millwall welcome Ipswich on Saturday. The striker, who recently joined the Lions on a permanent basis from Bournemouth, has suffered an ankle injury in training and will be sidelined for around three weeks.

Veteran Neil Harris stepped in for the FA Cup defeat by Birmingham as McQuoid was cup-tied, but fit-again Kevin Lisbie (knee) provides another option after his late run-out as a substitute.

Right-back Alan Dunne will return to the squad after completing a three-match suspension for his recent red card against Leicester. Midfielder Tamika Mkandawire will miss out after picking up a groin injury that will keep him out for at least a fortnight.

Centre-half Paul Robinson, who limped off towards the end against the Blues, will be out for two to three weeks, while midfielder Liam Trotter is very doubtful after injuring his back against Derby.

New signing Theo Robinson will be in the squad following his permanent move from Huddersfield.

Ipswich manager Paul Jewell could begin his reign by naming an unchanged team.

Jewell was among the spectators on Wednesday night as Town pulled off a shock 1-0 win over Arsenal in the League Cup semi-final and will have a tough job making any changes.

Tamas Priskin, netted the decisive goal against the Gunners, was a constant threat as a lone striker while

teenager Connor Wickham also impressed from the left.

Right-back Troy Brown is out with a hamstring injury, while top scorer Jason Scotland missed the cup victory with a calf strain.

Loan signings Jake Livermore and Rory Fallon are back after being ineligible on Wednesday, but fellow midfielder Grant Leadbitter serves the third and final match of his suspension.

Goalkeeper Brian Murphy is set to be out for at least three months with an ankle injury so Marton Fulop will continue. Winger Shane O'Connor also remains sidelined with a dislocated shoulder and midfielder Luke Hyam (hamstring) is out.
