Motherwell have an unchanged squad for the game but Steven Saunders remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Manager Stuart McCall will have to turn to youth to change the team that lost at Dundee United, where the only substitute aged over 20 was Esteban Casagolda.

David Proctor is to return to the Inverness squad following a knee injury.

Dani Sanchez is pushing for a start after scoring one and making the other in last weekend's 2-0 Scottish Cup over Elgin, but Jonny Hayes, Gavin Morrison, Kenny Gillet and Kevin McCann remain out.

McCann is recovering from knee surgery but manager Terry Butcher may seek to extend the defender's loan from Hibernian, which ends on Sunday.

Motherwell (from): Randolph, Reynolds, Craigan, Hammell, Sutton, Humphrey, Lasley, Hateley, Jennings, Murphy, Forbes, McHugh, Casagolda, Hutchinson, Hollis, Page, Meechan, Pollock.

Inverness (from): Esson, Tokely, Munro, Cox, Proctor, Shinnie, Duff, Ross, Foran, Rooney, Odhiambo, Sutherland, Golabek, Tuffey, Duncan, Sanchez, Innes, Blumenshtein, Proctor.
