Nikica Jelavic is set to be named in the Rangers squad.

The striker has been out of action since the start of October with a serious ankle injury but could make his comeback from the bench.

"Jelavic will be involved tomorrow," revealed Walter Smith.

"I certainly don't see him being involved from the start but there's a possibility he'll have an opportunity as a sub.

"He's had a hard week's training and we'll see how he feels tomorrow before we make a decision but he's now just about ready to come back."

Kenny Miller is also expected to be involved in the clash at Ibrox, despite holding talks with both Birmingham and Fiorentina.

Steven Naismith is available despite carrying a slight hamstring problem, while Kirk Broadfoot remains on the sidelines with a foot injury.

Hamilton, meanwhile, have been hit by the loss of six players ahead of the game.

Jim McAlister and Simon Mensing are suspended following their dismissals against Celtic in midweek, while Mark McLaughlin, Martin Canning, David Buchanan and Gary McDonald have joined Alex Neil and James Gibson on the injured list.

Rangers (from): McGregor, Whittaker, Papac, Foster, Lafferty, Weir, Bougherra, Davis, McCulloch, Ness, Hutton, Weiss, Miller, Beattie, Kerkar, Fleck, Webster, Alexander, Naismith, Jelavic.

Hamilton (from): Cerny, Skelton, Gillespie, Hasselbaink, M Paixao, Imrie, Casalinuovo, F Paixao, Murdoch, McAlister, Devlin, Kirkpatrick, Elebert, Graham, Wilkie, Antoine-Curier, Crawford, Hopkirk.
