Coventry manager Aidy Boothroyd must decide whether the time is right to reintroduce Ben Turner against Forest.

The centre-back, arguably City's best player over the first part of the campaign, has been missing for three months with a knee injury but is now back in contention for a first-team return.

Yet whether that comes against Forest, Leeds on Saturday or even next week is all down to Boothroyd.

The Sky Blues boss made two changes for Saturday's FA Cup defeat to Birmingham - young midfielder Conor Thomas and striker Clive Platt coming in for the departed Michael Doyle and dropped Freddy Eastwood.

Boothroyd is likely to restore Eastwood, while Sammy Clingan should overcome the minor tweaked ligament that ruled him out at St Andrew's.

Captain Lee Carsley continues to miss out having undergone double Achilles and hernia surgery.

The inclusion of Paul Konchesky is likely to be one of several changes to the Forest side.

Konchesky has joined the Reds on loan from Liverpool and is expected to make his debut at left-back.

With the short trip to the Ricoh Arena coming little over 48 hours after the FA Cup defeat at West Ham, Davies will shuffle his pack.

The Scot made four changes at Upton Park on Sunday. Marcus Tudgay, cup-tied against the Hammers, should come back into the team, with fellow forwards Robert Earnshaw, Nathan Tyson and midfielder Guy Moussi also in line for recalls.

Midfielder Paul Anderson is still a doubt with the hamstring problem that has ruled him out of the last two matches.
