Faurlin: Dead leg

Alejandro Faurlin and Heidar Helguson are doubts for QPR's home game against Portsmouth.

Midfielder Faurlin suffered a dead leg during Saturday's goalless draw at Hull, while striker Helguson is still struggling with the groin strain he picked up against Coventry last Sunday.

Norway international Petter Vaagen Moen is on standby to replace Faurlin, while West Brom loanee Ishmael Miller is likely to continue up front if Helguson misses out again.

Hungarian midfielder Akos Buzsaky is still out following knee surgery but he is back in training and could return in a couple of weeks.

Defender Peter Ramage (cruciate) and strikers Jamie Mackie and Patrick Agyemang (both broken leg) remain long-term absentees for the table toppers.

Pompey boss Steve Cotterill welcomes back Aaron Mokoena and Dave Kitson for the trip to leaders QPR.

Centre-half Mokoena returns from a two-match ban after collecting 10 bookings this season and striker Kitson has completed a three-match suspension for his red card against Brighton earlier this month.

But Cotterill remains short of bodies, having missed out on a deadline day loan move for Paul Konchesky while losing forward John Utaka, who has moved to Montpellier.

Midfielders Richard Hughes and Michael Brown are still unavailable due to the clauses in their contracts which would trigger new deals which the club cannot afford.

Striker Danny Webber remains sidelined with a knee injury but could be back in full training in a month.
