Bradley Wright-Phillips and Paul Benson could start in attack together for the first time for the game.

Wright-Phillips became new manager Chris Powell's first signing when he arrived from Plymouth last week and is in line to make his debut.

And he is likely be partnered by eight-goal striker Benson, who returns from a three-match ban following his red card at Colchester on New Year's Day.

Defender Federico Bessone, the deadline day arrival from Leeds, should also be in the squad.

Winger Johnnie Jackson, the Addicks' top scorer with 14 goals, is expected to be fit despite limping off against Plymouth last week with an ankle injury.

Saturday's trip to Rochdale was postponed, giving Jackson an extra couple of days to recover.

Colchester defender Pat Baldwin returns from suspension for the game. Baldwin sat out Friday night's 2-1 win over Peterborough due to a one-match ban following his red card against Brighton three days earlier.

However, the former Chelsea trainee may have to settle for a place in the bench after Huddersfield loanee Nathan Clarke's impressive debut alongside Matt Heath at centre-half.

Fellow defenders Magnus Okuonghae, Brian Wilson (both ankle) and Morten Knudsen (knee) are still out along with midfielder John-Joe O'Toole (knee).

But boss John Ward has no new injury worries to contend with following the Posh victory.

Winger Simon Hackney has joined League Two Oxford on loan until the end of the season.
