Jason Crowe will be added to the Leyton Orient squad for the game. The versatile defender has joined the Os on a contract until the end of the season after leaving Leeds on deadline day.

Skipper Stephen Dawson and striker Scott McGleish are doubts and will be handed late fitness checks.

Midfielder Dawson could only manage an hour of Saturday's FA Cup win at Swansea as he is still feeling a dead leg, and veteran frontman McGleish is struggling with an ankle knock.

Full-back Elliot Omozusi was on the bench at the weekend following a hamstring injury and will be involved again, while midfielder Adam Chambers came through unscathed on his return from hamstring trouble.

Radostin Kishishev needs a late fitness check for Brighton.

The veteran midfielder missed Saturday's 1-0 FA Cup win at Watford as a precaution due to a slight back problem.

Goalkeeper Casper Ankergren and defender Adam El-Abd should return to the starting line-up after being rested at the weekend, while winger Craig Noone was cup-tied.

Boss Gus Poyet played with three strikers at Vicarage Road so one of Glenn Murray, Chris Wood or goalscorer Ashley Barnes may drop out.

Full-back Jim McNulty and midfield duo Jamie Smith and Alan Navarro remain on the sidelines.

McNulty is recovering from an ankle operation, Smith has a broken metatarsal and Navarro is edging closer to a return following a cruciate injury.
