Bullard: Retains place in midfield

Andy Drury could be included in the squad for Town.

Winger Drury was a deadline-day signing from non-league outfit Luton and travelled with his team-mates for the 2-1 win at Derby on Tuesday night.

However, a hold-up in the paperwork at Luton prevented him from signing in time to play so he will come into contention against the Blades.

Jimmy Bullard marked his debut with a goal at Pride Park and should continue alongside David Norris and Grant Leadbitter in midfield.

Goalkeeper Brian Murphy is set to be out for at least three months with an ankle injury and winger Shane O'Connor remains sidelined with a dislocated shoulder.

Neill Collins is expected to make his debut for the Blades.

The central defender, signed from Leeds for an undisclosed fee on transfer deadline day, was unavailable for the midweek home defeat to Leicester.

Fellow loanee Joe Mattock was forced out of the action on Tuesday with knee and ankle injuries and will be sidelined for up to six weeks and Nyron Nosworthy (ankle) has only recently returned to light training, so Collins may start.

Defender Stephen Jordan will return to the squad after a long-term leg injury, while Irish midfielder Dave McAllister and French defender Jean Calve will also be added.

But manager Micky Adams has injury concerns over strikers Daniel Bogdanovic, who hurt his thigh in a minor car accident this week, and Ched Evans (ill) and midfielder Nick Montgomery (calf). All three players are rated doubtful.
