Foster: Could be fit for the game

Barnsley manager Mark Robins is hoping to have skipper Stephen Foster available for the game. Defender Foster has missed the last three games due to a gashed shin, with Bobby Hassell stepping in to fill the void.

Robins said: "Stephen Foster has been in training and is fit. It was a nasty gash and it has cost us three games without his services.

"Bobby has done brilliantly in his absence, but if he is fit he will play."

Robins has no new injury or suspension problems and although defender Jay McEveley is back in full training following a knee injury, he is still a few weeks away from a return to action.

Fellow defender Luke Potter is the only absentee due to a knee injury, while on-loan pair Jacob Mellis, from Chelsea, and West Ham's Frank Nouble are expected to retain their places in the starting line-up.

Ipswich manager Paul Jewell will wait on his returning internationals before naming the squad for the game. Town had 10 players away with their nations during the week and the likes of Gareth McAuley, Tamas Priskin, Jaime Peters and Marton Fulop were not due back until Friday.

Winger Luciano Civelli came off the bench in last weekend's 3-0 win against Sheffield United to make his first appearance since sustaining knee ligament damage in March 2009 and he will be in the squad again.

Goalkeeper Brian Murphy has stepped up his comeback from a broken ankle after coming out of plaster and will be back in around six weeks so Fulop will continue.

Midfielder Andy Drury could be included for the first time since his deadline-day move from non-league outfit Luton while striker Jason Scotland will feature despite being linked with a return to Swansea.
