Afobe: Faces late fitness test for Terriers

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark hopes to include on-loan teenage striker Benik Afobe in his squad for the clash with Oldham.

Afobe, on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season, has missed the last two games due to a knee injury but has had an injection in a bid to overcome the problem.

Fellow forward Danny Cadamarteri is hoping to make his first start since returning to the club from Dundee United. He came on - and scored - in last week's win at Exeter and featured in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Carlisle.

Clark has no new injury or suspension problems, but goalkeeper Alex Smithies (knee), defenders Tamas Kadar (hamstring) and Liam Ridehalgh (glandular fever), midfielders Tom Clarke (ankle) and Damien Johnson (knee) and striker Jordan Rhodes (ankle) all remain sidelined.

The Terriers, bidding to climb back into the automatic promotion places, are unbeaten in their last seven league games.

Oldham striker Warren Feeney looks certain to be passed fit for the trip to Huddersfield.

Feeney pulled out of Wednesday's Carling Nations Cup international between Northern Ireland and Scotland through an ankle problem.

The Ulsterman sustained the injury in training on Tuesday but Latics manager Paul Dickov revealed the problem is not serious.

Dickov said: "Warren didn't want to go and play for his country, aggravate the injury and not be available for us."

Dickov has no other major concerns as his side look to bounce back from the disappointment of conceding a last-minute equaliser in last weekend's 1-1 draw at home to Dagenham.

Dickov said: "We're unbeaten in six and we believe we are a good side."
