Rochdale boss Keith Hill has no injury or suspension concerns for the home clash with Wednesday.

Two injury-time goals from substitutes Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro and Matty Done gave Hill's men a 3-1 home win over Bristol Rovers in midweek.

Despite recent impressive performances in midfield, Josh Thompson was left out of the side to play Rovers and replaced with on-loan Barnsley striker Liam Dickinson, who lined up alongside Chris O'Grady in attack.

Hill will keep any changes to a minimum following Tuesday's victory but has warned his side that teams will come to Spotland to stop his men playing.

He said: "People have got to accept that it is going to be very difficult to break teams down."

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Darren Potter will return to the squad following suspension in manager Gary Megson's first game in charge at Rochdale.

Potter was sent off in the recent defeat at Peterborough and missed last Saturday's draw with MK Dons.

Megson will be without winger Jermaine Johnson through illness but has no other new injury or suspension problems to contend with as the Owls look to secure their first league win in eight matches.

Isaiah Osbourne, signed recently on loan from Aston Villa, could make his first appearance for Wednesday, while strikers Neil Mellor and Paul Heffernan are pushing for recalls after Clinton Morrison partnered Gary Madine up front last week.

Midfielders Tommy Miller (hamstring) and Liam Palmer (ankle) plus defenders Lewis Buxton (hamstring) and Jon Otsemobor (calf) are all still out.
