Benson: Set to return for Charlton

Paul Benson returns to the Charlton squad.

The eight-goal striker has been sidelined for the past two matches with a hamstring injury but will be fit to face the Grecians.

Fellow forward Joe Anyinsah is expected to shake off a knock and midfielder Therry Racon could also be available after missing the midweek defeat at Hartlepool with a knee niggle.

But right-back Simon Francis is a doubt after coming off worse in a collision with the dug-out on Tuesday night and left-back Federico Bessone looks set to miss out again with a hamstring problem.

Carl Jenkinson could start his first league game in place of Francis, while West Ham loanee Matt Fry will probably continue at left-back.

Exeter boss Paul Tisdale has a fully-fit squad to choose from.

Midfielder Jake Thompson was the only doubt after he missed Saturday's 2-0 win over Notts County with a knock picked up in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern area final defeat to Brentford, but he is fit and available for selection.

Tisdale is likely to select the same starting line-up that turned out against the Magpies, meaning John O'Flynn should partner Jamie Cureton in attack.

That means Daniel Nardiello, who has netted four goals in his last five appearances, may have to settle for a place on the bench.

The Grecians head into the encounter hoping to secure back-to-back league victories for the first time since November.
