Edwards: In contention for Canaries

Norwich will have new signing Rob Edwards available.

Defender Edwards has joined the club on loan until the end of May from Blackpool and will provide much-needed cover at centre-half.

Leon Barnett has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury and Edwards could be on the bench at Carrow Road - with Elliott Ward and Zak Whitbread continuing in the back four.

Striker Chris Martin missed the 2-2 draw with Leeds on Saturday with a hamstring injury and is set to be out again so Aaron Wilbraham could keep his place alongside captain Grant Holt.

Left-winger Simon Lappin will also be out for around a fortnight after having an appendectomy operation on Saturday.

Doncaster midfielders James Coppinger and Ryan Burge are the latest players to succumb to injury at the Keepmoat Stadium and will miss the clash with the Canaries.

Coppinger sustained a calf strain during the warm-up prior to Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Swansea, while Burge was withdrawn after hurting his ankle during training.

Manager Sean O'Driscoll was forced to draft in Blackpool striker Jason Euell and Leicester midfielder Franck Moussa on emergency loans last week and both made their debuts at Swansea, where Doncaster conceded their ninth league goal in five days.

Leading scorer Billy Sharp (groin), fellow striker James Hayter (calf), midfielder Ryan Mason (leg) and defender James Chambers (hamstring) are all sidelined.

Other absentees include defenders James O'Connor (foot), Shelton Martis (ankle) and Mustapha Dumbuya (knee) and midfielders Brian Stock (back), Simon Gillett (knee) and Martin Woods (groin).
