Elliot: Has a knee injury

Aberdeen have no fresh concerns.

Paul Hartley and Andrew Considine came off the bench in the 1-0 win over Hamilton after returning from suspension but could be in contention to start against the Jambos.

Peter Pawlett (knee) remains on the sidelines alongside long-term absentees Yoann Folly, Darren Mackie and Fraser Fyvie.

Hearts travel to Aberdeen seeking to climb to second place in the SPL without Kevin Kyle, Calum Elliot, Ian Black, Ruben Palazuelos and David Obua.

Black and Palazuelos are suspended, Kyle (groin) and Elliot (knee) remain injured and Obua is out after suffering a gashed shin - an injury requiring 15 stitches - in the win at Hamilton.

Lee Wallace (bruised ankle) is doubtful, while Suso Santana could also struggle to be fit.

Aberdeen (from): Langfield, McNamee, Smith, Considine, Diamond, Vujadinovic, Milsom, Jack, Young, Aluko, Hartley, Maguire, Vernon, Blackman, McArdle, Paton, Magennis, Anderson, Shaughnessy, Howard.

Hearts (from): Kello, Bouzid, Zaliukas, Stevenson, Driver, Elliott, Skacel, Glen, Jonsson, Mrowiec, C Thomson, Wallace, J Thomson, Santana, Balogh, Webster, Barr, Templeton, MacDonald.

Twas The Worst Game I Ever Did See...

In this Mailbox it's England v Algeria in 2010 that is seen as the nadir, but there's potential for worse, surely. Plus, one man says we should praise Rooney's honesty...
