Fox: Will play alongside Crofts

Norwich manager Paul Lambert will name an unchanged squad for the visit of rock-bottom Preston.

Andrew Crofts stole the headlines last weekend with his match-winning brace at Barnsley and the Wales midfielder will continue alongside David Fox in the centre.

Marc Tierney was promoted to the starting XI at left-back last week and made the opener so could keep his place ahead of stalwart Adam Drury.

Forward Chris Martin remains sidelined with his hamstring injury while midfielder Simon Lappin will also be out for around a fortnight after having an appendectomy last week.

Leon Barnett has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury but fellow defender Jens Berthel Askou is back from his loan spell at Millwall.

Preston boss Phil Brown may call on strikers Iain Hume and Chris Brown for the trip to the high-flying Canaries.

The pair have recently been sidelined due to injury but both men were on target for the reserves in a 4-2 victory over Wrexham at Deepdale on Wednesday afternoon.

Hume and Brown were substituted after an hour with an eye on the trip to Carrow Road, where Brown will aim to record his first win as North End boss.

Burnley defender Leon Cort is available again after he missed last weekend's 2-1 home defeat to the Clarets under the terms of his loan deal.

Brown has no other major concerns as his rock-bottom side bid to breathe new life into their campaign.
