Konchesky: Returns after injury

Paul Konchesky could return to the Forest squad for the visit of Hull.

The on-loan Liverpool full-back has missed the last two matches with a hamstring injury.

Boss Billy Davies has his fingers crossed that Konchesky will be fit as Joel Lynch, who has deputised in his absence, suffered an ankle injury against Middlesbrough in midweek.

Midfielder Paul Anderson and forward Marcus Tudgay were only fit enough for the bench at the Riverside due to respective hamstring and groin problems and they will continue to be monitored.

Depending on the formation Davies opts for against Hull, winger Radoslaw Majewski or striker Dele Adebola could be in line for a recall as the Reds boss feels Lewis McGugan needs a rest.

New loan signing David Amoo is expected to make his first appearance for Hull in the clash at Forest.

Teenage winger Amoo, signed on loan last weekend from Liverpool until the end of the season, will be included in Nigel Pearson's squad.

However, Anthony Gerrard remains doubtful. The central defender, on a season-long loan from Cardiff, twisted his ankle in the opening stages of last week's home defeat against his parent club and has not trained this week.

Jack Hobbs, on loan from Leicester, is expected to continue at the heart of defence if Gerrard fails to make it.

Richard Garcia could return to the squad following a two-month lay-off. The Australia internatiional had a knee operation at the end of December and missed the Asia Cup.

Fellow winger Cameron Stewart, a recent signing from Manchester United, is expected to be sidelined long-term after undergoing surgery to repair damaged knee ligaments.
