Kennedy: Has a hamstring strain

The Tractor Boys will be without the versatile Mark Kennedy.

Kennedy - who can play in midfield or at left-back - suffered a hamstring in the 2-0 win at his former club Cardiff on Saturday and will be out for several weeks.

On-loan Celtic man Darren O'Dea replaced Kennedy at full-back at Cardiff and should start.

Midfielder Jimmy Bullard scored twice in Wales to give Town victory and will keep his place but Colin Healy has been ruled out with the stomach injury he sustained at QPR last month.

Captain David Norris made a surprise return last week and will start after injuries to his ankle and knee.

Goalkeeper Brian Murphy has stepped up his comeback from a broken ankle after coming out of plaster but Marton Fulop will continue.

Winger Jobi McAnuff is a doubt for Reading as they travel to Suffolk.

McAnuff missed the 5-2 thrashing of Middlesbrough on Saturday with an ankle injury and could miss out again - especially after replacement Hal Robson-Kanu scored at the weekend.

Right-back Andy Griffin has been sidelined for the last three matches with an Achilles injury but has a chance of being involved, while deputy Shaun Cummings is also injured.

Midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson has been filling in at full-back and he will do again if required.

Club captain Ivar Ingimarsson has been ruled out with a groin injury while Alex Pearce remains sidelined with a thigh strain, so former Blackburn man Zurab Khizanishvili is in line to keep his place.

Goalkeeper Adam Federici remains out with a knee injury so 21-year-old Alex McCarthy will continue.

One Guy's Genuinely Irked About Fixtures

A Gooner in the Mailbox seems to genuinely think that the world/fixture computer is against his team. Sigh. That, plus more cool footballers & Mike Ashley: Supervillain...

Twas The Worst Game I Ever Did See...

In this Mailbox it's England v Algeria in 2010 that is seen as the nadir, but there's potential for worse, surely. Plus, one man says we should praise Rooney's honesty...
