Ilesanmi: Suspended for Daggers

Dagenham will be without Oluwafemi Ilesanmi for the visit of Gary Megson's men.

The left-back was dismissed in the last minute of the midweek draw at Leyton Orient for bringing down substitute Paul-Jose Mpoku for a penalty.

The club lodged an appeal with the FA which failed, so he now begins a two-match ban.

However, first-choice full-back Damien McCrory is back in training after two games out with a twisted ankle so he should come back in.

Winger Damian Scannell is out after he pulled his hamstring in the dying stages of the 2-1 win over Charlton last weekend, while Oliver Lee - son of former England midfielder Robert - could be included after he signed on-loan from West Ham.

Striker John Akinde is back in training after a long-term groin problem but is not yet ready to make his Daggers debut.

Sheffield Wednesday's latest loan signings Joey O'Brien and Lee Nicholls are expected to go straight into the squad.

Bolton midfielder O'Brien and Wigan's teenage goalkeeper Nicholls will stay at Hillsborough until the end of the season.

O'Brien could make Megson's starting line-up after teaming back up with the former Bolton boss but goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell, who made his first appearance of the season last week, is expected to retain his place in the absence of Nicky Weaver (groin).

Midfielder Isaiah Osbourne, on loan from Aston Villa, should start again despite being forced off at Southampton with a hamstring strain.

Defender Lewis Buxton returned to the bench as an unused substitute last Saturday following a long-term groin injury and is pushing for a return to the starting line-up as the Owls look to halt a run of three straight defeats.
