Kenneth: Missing for United

Rangers will be without injured duo Madjid Bougherra and Vladimir Weiss.

Bougherra has a hamstring strain, while Weiss is still troubled with a foot problem ahead of the clash at Ibrox.

Steven Naismith (hamstring and groin) and Steven Davis (knee) have recovered from the injuries which kept them out of their respective international matches, although Kyle Lafferty could be a doubt with a knee injury.

Kirk Broadfoot and Jamie Ness are both fit again but the visit of United may come too soon for the pair.

Dundee United will be without defender Garry Kenneth.

The centre-half is still recovering from a knee injury and will not resume full training until next week.

But manager Peter Houston's options have been boosted by the return of Scott Severin, Craig Conway and Mihael Kovacevic in recent weeks.

Long-term absentee Darren Dods (knee) is still out.
