Zat Knight and Mark Davies return to the Bolton squad following knee and ankle injuries respectively. Ricardo Gardner is also in contention after returning from a loan spell at Preston.

Stuart Holden, Sean Davis and Sam Ricketts remain sidelined through injury, however.

Avram Grant will serve the first match of a touchline ban at the Reebok Stadium but the Hammers have no fresh injury concerns to contend with.

Jack Collison (knee) and Junior Stanislas (hernia) are both ruled out with long-standing injuries, however.
